Are you in California?

County health departments in CA require you to obtain the HCD CA Insignia before you can get your county health department inspection. We build to code and can ensure your trailer will be able to pass in order to acquire the HCD Insignia, and then pass your local county health department inspection.

Plans and Schematics- $1000

We can provide plans for your health department for pre-approval before the trailer is built. Plans are able to be changed or altered to reflect your preferred equipment and layout design.

Passing the health department inspection

Every health department county has some differences, but most are pretty similar. Some items that are required are: concession window, 3 compartment sink, hand washing sink, fresh and grey water tanks, hot water heater, water pump. We will work with your county health department to ensure all items are to the county's specifications.

It may seem like a lot of information all at once, but we have been through this before and can help walk you through it.

General Workflow

1. Provide plans for clients to send to county health department for pre-approval

2. Once approved we build the trailer based on the plans submitted

3. ONLY if you are in CA- obtain HCS CA Insignia (inspector comes to you)
